Skype

We're planning to use Skype to communicate with friends and family in the US and we've just registered for it.  Our username is HarbinWeiss.  We're pretty new to Skype so if you're familiar with it, send us a message or give us a call!

Teaching Loads

Pete found out that he'll be teaching four sections of Senior Newspaper Reading in the fall and that it will involve two different class preps.

Julie found out she'll be teaching fifth and third grade as well as providing pre-school services!

Also, there is a Chinese school on campus for children of HEU employees and we hope that Amy, Erica, and Claire can go there for part of the day.

Our New Home
We have received news of our placement!!  We will be living in the city of Harbin in Heilongjiang Province in Northeast China and Pete will be teaching English at Harbin Engineering University.  We're excited to be in Harbin!!  It's the northernmost city in which ELIC places teacheres and we're told it's cold....very, very cold!!  Some interesting links about Harbin and the university are on the left column.
